Pizza Lollipops

I haven’t really had a fix for a lollipop since I was maybe 6 or 7. If there happened to be one laying around and I needed a sugar kick, sure, I’d give stick one in my mouth and be on my way, but as I aged, I moved further away from fruity sugar candy and closer to chocolate and carbs. These Pizza Pops made by the bakers over at The Decorated Cookie combine the deliciousness of Italian cuisine with... Continue reading

Lady Gaga Cookies

In homage to the greatest thing to happen to pop in decades, fffireburns and their friend Matt created these awesome Lady Gaga cookies, inspired by some of her more notable and unorthodox outfits. Each cookie has its own unique piece of Gaga attire so you can just imagine the fierceness. Funny, I my reoccurring dream of a dinosaur biting off Lady Gaga’s head is sorta coming to fruition. Except I’m the dinosaur and Lady Gaga doesn’t taste like chicken. I’ll just put... Continue reading

Dante’s Inferno ASCII Viral Marketing Scheme Attacks Source Code of Popular Sites

Dante’s Inferno ASCII art has popped up in the source code of some of the most popular websites on the web, including Digg, IGN and Kotaku. All of the art links to the same Dante’s Inferno website, so the source of the coding is definitly not a secret. Appearing in the source code of these popular sites are apparent attempts at viral marketing through the use of ASCII art in the very fabric of the websites themselves. Images of demons... For the Love of Fonts: Typographic Playing Cards

While I’m not a graphic design major I always had a keen eye for neat and progressive design, including creative uses of typography. This set of Typographic Playing Cards caught my eye with its interesting integration of text into the design of a deck of cards. Designed by Michelle Lam, each card features a different font, along with a mini-description on the usage of the lettering.

Creative “No Photo” Facebook Pics: The Cool Way to be Anonymous

I’m always curious why some Facebook users are so guarded that they refuse to put any sort of profile picture, period. I can understand not wanting to put a picture of yourself, but at least uploading some sort of image to catch our attention would be nice. These creative “No Photo” Facebook pics take the ‘fault’ out of default. Why settle for standard anonymity when you can project an image of power, such as Batman or Spock. Hit the jump... “Electronic Chaos” Vinyl Wall Stickers Add Atmosphere of Production

I love the idea of creating a chaotic assembly line of power on a plain white wall. The “Electronic Chaos” vinyl wall stickers are a gorgeous addition for the wall behind the gadgets. Designed by Julia Wolf and created by Diz Decor, “Electronic Chaos” illustrates the connection of energy between all of your electronics. More chaos after the leap.

Awesome Dad Creates Rad Lunch Bag Art Every Day and Blogs About It

If only my father was half as cool as this guy. Pretty much every single day this father creates a new piece of art on his kids lunch bags. He uses his lunch break to craft these awesome drawings. Sometimes they are known characters, but most of the time the art is inspired by obscure cartoons or YouTube videos. He than takes a photo of the art and posts it on his Lunch Bag Art Tumblr blog. Lucky friggen’ kids.... Continue reading
