Check out these laptop bags from designer Giles Miller. He does wondrous things with cardboard, attaches a leather belt and calls it a laptop case. While I love the look, it’s still a cardboard case. What happens if it rains? In fact, scratch that. Who cares. Didn’t your laptop come in a cardboard box? If you hung onto that, why not just attach a piece of rope on each side and voila! You’ve got yourself a case. Last I checked, Apple’s box design is more chic than half of the laptop bags out there today but I think Giles’ design wins overall due to the street cred.

I want the silicone case, because I just got my iPhone and it is like a baby too me. Also I had a nightmare last night that I broke it all to hell, and had to pay an crap load to get it fixed. I woke up in a cold sweat this morning. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Your laptop has feelings too, you know… At least that’s what the guys at Violet May would have you think. Their new line of laptop “sleeves” has a satin interior that contrasts with the super softItalian lambs’ leather exterior. Freaked out yet? Moving on to color selection, the laptop sleeves come in chocolate & marigold, white & rose, black & violet. Crayola colors are the best, aren’t they? These sleeves are made in Spain, so no China slave labor here, a nice change. As for pricing, these will set you back around $280! Ouch. Violet May identifies itself as a source of help for female entrepreneurs. Maybe they only want the entrepreneurs that are already successful.

The new iVak case, has had many people flocking around the booth today at Macworld with eager consumers wondering what that new, thin, stylish iPod case really is.
