New Blog Reveals Photos Of Mutant Beyonce

My buddy Nick McGlynn is on a mission to expose poor photoshop skills.” To achieve this noble goal, he’s created a new blog called Photoshop of Horrors. Nick’s site feature pictures of some of the worst Photoshop disasters known to man. My personal favorites are this shot of Beyonce with three arms and a picture of a topless denim model who had her nipples edited into oblivion.

There have been other bad Photoshop sites, but Nick says his blog is a cut above the rest because “the elegant and easy to navigate page design incorporates witty mouse over captions for each photo, as well as offering large and small views of the page.” You can make a lot of great stuff with Photoshop, but this site is a powerful reminder that, as Spiderman once said: “with great power comes great responsibility.”

Yummy Kitchen Connect for food blogging and recipe sharing

1_intro_1.jpg

Food and recipe blogs have become an underrated force in the blogging world. The Yummy Kitchen Connect, an entry in the Microsoft / IDSA Design Competition, might win the food talk a little extra recognition. We’ve seen some really cool kitchen design in the past, but the Yummy might be the most usable of the bunch for every day life. The Kitchen Connector will join you and your kitchen to the food blogging network. Specially designed for the kitchen, the Yummy takes up very little room, fitting on the wall like a wall calender. The Yummy takes the information from your kitchen and food life, such as food you have available, diet schedule, and saved recipes and recommends food to make that you might like. Think of it as your kitchen Tivo. The Yummy can also access media such as podcasts, video blogs, music, webtv, and Skype for kitchen calling. All in a useful touchscreen interface.

Sony’s next PSP to have 60GB hard drive?

samsung psp

Ohhhhh, man. Someone is definitely going to lose their job over this. It seems that whoever the presentation director of the Samsung N-Series (small and high storing units) presentation “accidentally” let the wrong PowerPoint slide pop-up on the wrong day and now the blogs have their engines revving with anticipation. What exactly does this mean for us? What it means is we might just get to see the next PSP sooner then anticipated. We’re talking 2007’s CES convention. God knows an upgrade would make up for the PS3 predictions. So here’s crossing our fingers! — Andrew Dobrow
