CyberPower’s Core i7 Gaming PC: The Black Pearl

Intel’s Core i7 processors are wicked fast. Faster than that new Lamborghini we know nothing about. Of course, the earliest devices that will utilize the processor are gaming PCs. The Core i7 was officially launched yesterday and computer companies like CyberPower are already stocking the assembly lines with this quad-core powerhouse.

CyberPower unveiled its latest and fastest gaming PC, the Black Pearl, which will pack the Intel’s new Core i7 processor inside. With a 3.2GHz 965 Extreme Edition CPU and a sickening 12GB of RAM, this computer is looking too fast for its own good. Crysis on the highest settings powered by a dual ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 graphic cards with 2GB video RAM? Ain’t nothing for this PC. Try two Crysis’ on the highest setting running simultaneously. This computer can handle it, no problem. There plenty of room for all your pirated software, so storage space will never be an issue. It has two separate 300GB HDD, 10,000RPM SATA II units from Western Digital. Or perhaps you’d prefer to use the 1TB, SATA II drive, which is also included. Not bad for a gaming rig that’s only priced at $3,999.

Sony’s New Blu-ray Recorder Bribes You

If there’s one thing that’ll interest you about Sony’s third generation internal Blu-ray optical drive, the BWU-300S, it’s not the specs. So, what if it can write single and dual layer BD-R discs at up to 8X speed, or if it writes DVDs at up to 16X, CDs up to 48X and supports DVD-RAM recording.

No, we don’t care about all of that. We care that this drive comes with a free movie, not the news about no DH DVD playback. So long as it comes with Men In Black on Blu-ray, we’ll buy it. That’s like - a fifteen dollar value. Unbelievable.

Continental iPhone 3G Got That Bling Thang

When the word “Continental” comes to mind, I tend to think of a shit dive bar in Manhattan where you can get 5 shots of any liquor for $10. Anytime. Yes, it’s amazing and here’s a limited edition iPhone to match. It’s an all black iPhone 3G encrusted with a combination of black and white diamonds. Think that’s rich? Each is hand made and is of course, limited edition. Better have the loot to back up your style, though. Continental’s iPhone 3G is going for about $6500.

Black Tissues

For the super elite, regular tissues will not do for coke nose. After all, how are you going to spot the white chunks of blow on a white tissue, save the mucus and blood. Thankfully, Japan has turned up a set of black tissues that not only look brilliant, they cost a small fortune as well.

For $150, you get 20 boxes of tissues with 160 per box. No longer will rocks in your nose bother you. Keep blowing and look for the evidence.

A Sweet Way to Task Manager

licorice

The only people I know that enjoy black licorice had seven root canals last year. That aside, for the few who do enjoy the taste that black licorice has to offer and are really into the computer thing, there’s the Control+Alt+Delete licorice from the fine folks at CtrlAltDel.org.

The bold taste of black licorice coupled with the three-fingered salute!? Genius! With Fathers Day coming up, this is a tasteful way to remind your dad to get you that new FragBox you’ve been eying.

New iLuv i201 ear clip headphones: cheap and nice looking

iluv i201 ear clips

Many people have tried the ear clip style of headphone. They are really interesting for about a half an hour, until you realize either that they are the reason you ears hurt, or that everyone is staring at those alien looking things in your ears. If the new iLuv i201 headphones can overcome those obstacles, they probably have a good change at making it in the market. Priced at $13, these headphones are great for the iPod user who wants to ditch their horrible stock headphones but does not want to commit to a $100 set of noise canceling, over the head style piece of machinery. They do look rather nice. They aren’t as bony as some other ear clip headphones are, the have some substance. Because they utilize the plug style ear pieces, they do a good job of blocking outside noise that you want to to leave you alone. Another nice little feature? You don’t have to worry about extensions if the cord is too short because it comes with an adjuster built into the cord. The come in either iPod white or black to match for fashionable Christmas gift.
