Army of Two Action Figures

armyfigs

I didn’t know that the Army of Two franchise was such a huge hit but apparently, it’s enough a cash cow for EA that it’s decided to create some sweet-lookin’ action figures based on the game’s characters. I wish these were around when I was a kid. Look at the detail on these fuckers. Toy maker NECA really knows how to make a decent figure.

NYC Toy Fair: Got Game?

Even though we act like adults, some of us are still kids at heart. The Kotaku boys have done a fantastic roundup of the current NYC Toy Fair and some of the goodies they found are enough to make guys of any age scream with joy. For instance, check out the detail on the Dead Space action figure of Isaac Clarke. Badass, though I think the DIY version is a little cooler. You a Gears of War fan? No worries. Plenty of plastic lancers to go around. Hit the link below to check out Kotaku’s full scoop.

Man Catalogs Star Wars Action Figures With Help Of Pixel Art

starpix.jpg

If you’re to take a trip over to Joshua Budich’s website, you might be confused by what you find. At first glance it appears as nothing more than a showcase for a gallery of somewhat lame Star Wars-themed pixel art. But as you click further with your mouse, you discover a hidden secret.

The pixel art is just the begining. Budich goes on to document a wide array of Star Wars action figures. I’m not sure if the catalog is a complete Star Wars toy encyclopedia, but the contents are pretty fun to browse through, especially accompanied by the little pixel people (and droids). — Andrew Dobrow
