It looks like the ten-year partnership between Sony and Ericsson is finally over, as Sony is purchasing their subsidiary for $1.475 billion dollars.

For those who are unhappy with the current UIQ user interface employed by SonyEricsson devices, here’s a little something to look forward to. Apparently the UI will have some serious facelift. Here’s a shot snapped from a presentation somewhere, somehow, by somebody. —Sam Chan

We’re pretty sure that we’re really approaching an announcement now. This morning we found pictures of 2 unannounced phones from SonyEricsson being leaked on Chinese forums.
