Nobody but LEGO can pull this sort of thing off. Can you imagine a Barbie promo in the style of Jan Svankmajer? And it’s an interestingly troubling premise; not enough advertising appeals to childrens’ base motives, the way a good Maurice Sendak or Tove Jansson story does. [thank you, Tim Maly]
