Hisense is a company perhaps more well known for their home theater equipment, but they are now branching out in to the mobile tech industry. Hisense has now teamed up to release the Walmart exclusive Hisense Sero 7 Pro Android powered tablet.
The Hisense Sero 7 Pro is going to retail for just $150 making it a more affordable tablet solution for those on a budget. The Sero features a 1,280 x 800 display, a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The tablet itself measures 7.87 x 4.95 x 0.43 inches and it also features a 5MP rear facing camera.
The biggest complaint that users have with this tablet so far is that the headphone jack does not recognize all headphone brands – a pretty big complaint if you ask me! Additionally, battery life of just over eight hours puts this tablet at the lower end of the spectrum with the Blackberry Playbook. However, there is no arguing that $150 is a reasonable price and that this tablet certainly fills a niche in the market.
