Check out this keynote made by a Microsoft R&D representative. Microsoft is working on surface area touch desks, with a Minority Report-like interface. The desk looks super cool and presents all the information needed to get a job done, in this case, a manufacturer supervisor.
The idea of real time schematics with such a cool interface could really be groundbreaking in the business scene. Not to mention that these desks would be insanely popular with the geek population. We hope we’re alive to see it have more than 2 existing models. — Andrew Dobrow
