If you’re a frequent Amazon shopper than you are going to be a little upset with yesterday’s announcement from Amazon, they are now raising their minimum free shipping price to $35.
When it comes to free shipping it is common knowledge that Amazon offers free shipping on purchases of $25 or more. Well yesterday Amazon announced that they will now require a minimum purchase of $35 in order to qualify for free shipping. Sure, it’s only $10 but that $10 adds up. Is there a way around the increased minimum? Only if you set up Prime shipping which offers a free one month trial, however, in order to continue after that free period you will be charged for a one year membership.
This is the first time in ten years that Amazon has increased their free shipping minimum so we really shouldn’t complain but we do have another option to save Amazon a few bucks – stop using such ridiculously huge boxes stuffed with packing to ship incredibly tiny items!
