9V Battery LED Flashlight

We feel bad for 9V batteries. They never get the recognition they fully deserve. What do people think guitar effect pedals run on? And even smoke alarms?! If you answered 9V, you are correct. The Pak-Lite 9V White LED Flashlight makes the 9V itself the center of attention. Just place the light cap on top of the battery and ta-da, light. And God said it was good.

Unlike many cheap products on the market today, the Pak-Lite actually comes with a battery. If it didn’t we guess it would sort of defeat the purpose. The bright LED lights are supposed to illuminate objects like the sun, revealing “colors in their true sense”. For an extra $5, you can upgrade your alkaline battery to a lithium battery, which packs in double the power. Maybe not long enough to last for the entirety of the LED’s lifespan of 100,000 hours, but still longer than usual. Also choose from High and Low light levels. Available for $24.99, or $29.99 for the buyer willing to go lithium. — Andrew Dobrow

  1. Thanks for posting this. Was looking for these goodies, and you alerted me to them. Paklite seems a true niche – nothing but an endless variety of led cap kits for the prodigal 9 volt alkalines.

  2. @leddie: Glad you like it! Check back for more often! We do these type of stories regularly.
