Paper money still has several advantages. For example:
- No one knows where or what you buy except you and the person you trade with
- You are in control of the money in your pocket or your safe at home: No one can just lock your account and prevent you from buying things

This is a nice concept... Paper money should be on its way out already. But it's not catching up in my country. Most of the shops don't accept card here.. Hope it changes for better soon to make path for these new cards.

I don't want to give up paper money. Using credit/debit/futuristic bank cards will leave a trail that governments can trace. The privacy of paper money will disappear.

Great idea! With this system, only the government, banks and corporations will be able to rob you. Hey, why bother with a big, clumsy screen? Why not just shrink it down into a single chip and implant it under your skin? Sure, that's what the conspiracy nuts have been saying all along but they're crazy. Plus, it will be easy!

@zeroes- well you can say that all you want, but reality is that people WILL try to steal your money. they do it now, they've done it before, and they'll do it later, no matter what kinds of credit cards we have. The world is not perfect, and probably will never be.
