Top 5 “I’m A Mac” spoofs: Is it true what we’ve heard about them?

[ev type="youtube" data="Rjpn3L3bSJQ"][/ev] TechEBlog gives their opinion of the top five “I’m a Mac” ad spoofs. They were so funny we figured we had to share. Because they do have a bigger harddrive…and run faster too. 5 more after the jump.

Stunningly bad Windows 386 promo video from Hell

[ev type="youtube" data="QGO2hVA3P58"][/ev] What the hell was Bill Gates on when he approved this commercial? The fact that this video was played to prospective customers is absolutely ridiculous. If we were buying software and this is the video we saw from Microsoft, we would think they were some back alley public broadcasting company. Take a gander and the video if you can stay awake long enough to watch it. WARNING: Might cause boredom and lack of acting skill induced comas.... Continue reading

Jobsisms: Apple CEO Steve Jobs on a presentation loop

[ev type="youtube" data="QOVRgVPrGlQ"][/ev] If you have wondered why Steve Jobs is such an engaging public speaker, maybe you should check out this video. We’re sure those key power words have a big part of his speaking nature. Well, they must. From this video you’d think they were the only words he ever says. Unbelievable. Pretty cool huh? Wouldn’t it be great to talk like him? I guess we’re just mere mortals.– Andrew Dobrow “Jobsisms”…Steve Jobs as a broken record [Core77]

All In One Japensese Sink: You wash? No, iWash

[ev type="youtube" data="LiW20i_LcfI"][/ev] Japanese innovation never ceases to amaze us. Especially when the ideas are the kind that make you think to yourself, “Now why the hell didn’t I think of that?”. The All in one Sink featured in this video is one of those things. The sink has a motion detector for both the soap dispenser and the faucet, but also fits the hand blow dryer right into the damn sink. Motion detection and all. We just hope that... Continue reading

Kuka Juke Bot, the robotic DJ out scratches the pros

So…You wanna be a DJ? Check out these Kuka robotic DJs. The two robots are encased in a circle of LPs. Both robots working independently, grab a LP and place it on the turntable, where it proceeds to consume you in scratching and mixing madness. The DJ’s are actually two Kuka industrial robots which have been modded to be master turntable masters. They actually sound pretty neat! Turntableism is sadly becoming a dead art form. Can the Kuka Juke save... Continue reading

Cakebot: Taking cake cutting to the next level

[ev type="youtube" data="4O4x9J4PnSI"][/ev] If we had to wait this long for our cake to be sliced and served, we’d start making cookies instead. Cool idea with the legos though. And hey. With a faster motor, who knows? We’re lazy enough to get one. If we wanted to see cake being cut this slow, we’d spend our birthdays at our grandparent’s house more often. Though, being of absolutely no robotics talent, who are we to judge? — Andrew Dobrow Cakebot: mindstorm... Continue reading

“You’re Beautiful, Mac” sings some girl on YouTube

[ev type="youtube" data="zsqi2QHXaFI"][/ev] To be blunt (haha we too can make James Blunt puns), this video is purely agonizing. Not only do we HATE that damn song that was on the radio constantly for 6 months, but the woman’s voice (no offense because you’re pretty hot) leaves something to be desired. I could see it starting as a good idea. A way to get more hits on YouTube. But what it turned into is something between a tribute song and... Continue reading

New Japansese PSP commercial has Kung-Fu style

[ev type="youtube" data="ujio_VSwj5U"][/ev] Sony has released this commercial for the Japanese market. Are dwindling PS3 sales in Japan scaring Sony? The commercial is a cool little parody of Japanese martial art films mixed with modern gaming technology. Tell us what you think! — Andrew Dobrow Sony Releases new Japanese PSP Ad [TechEBlog]

The update on MySpace

By now everyone in the world knows all about MySpace, and everyone and their mom has one in America. It was cool back when you were a freshman in high school, but once you get out of that stage then its time to either delete it altogether or keep it but don’t be completely obsessed over it. It is a little funny when people pour all of their emotions into their page, so maybe some of those obsessed kids (or... Continue reading

Verizon LG enV VX9900 Commercials

The newest generation of Verizon’s answer to the Sidekick looks like an absolute joy to work with. The LG line of micro SD phones has had their problems in the past, but the VX9900 is looking great compared to the original release of the LG “The V”. The VX9900 now comes with a 2 megapixel camera and additional productivity tools and hardware upgrades since the previous editions. To wet our palettes a little more, Verizon has released two VX9900 commercials.... Continue reading
