If you haven’t seen Watchmen yet there are a few (but not too many) essential sights you have missed before you can say you’ve truly lived. For one, you’ve missed seeing a gigantic CGI-enhanced blue penis. You’ve also failed to witness the unmasking of the antihero Rorschach a.k.a. Walter Kovacs. Reading his blog would be a good start at getting to know this mysteriously masked man, but how well can you really understand a man without looking him in the eyes?

Luckily for all of you who haven’t dropped the $10 to see the movie, Play.com offers a 6″ Rorschach action figure in both the masked and unmasked varieties. For spoiler purposes the face has been blocked out. Don’t they realize that Rorschach can be found unmasked across the net? Hint: He’s a ginger!

We don’t want to know what you use these Dr. Manhattan Gloves for. We really don’t. Whether you’re using them to act out your darkest of sexual fantasies, or simply need a new pair of dish washing gloves, do as you will, but no asky, no telly.

No matter what you use them for, they are just too damn cool to pass up. I mean, really? You’re not going to own a pair of Dr. Manhattan gloves? And you call yourself a Watchmen fan. Not to mention they would serve as an excellent distraction from your woman’s brute man-hands, which remind you more of Rorschach anyway. How the hell did they even get like that? She’s not a construction worker. Though she might be working some “construction sites” on the side.

If there’s one thing we go ga-ga over here at Gearfuse, it’s a kickass set of LEGOs. This Watchmen set? No exception. It was created by Jordan Schwartz and the neat thing is, each character is made from original LEGO parts. That’s right. No hand-painted nonsense here, folks. Just good ol’ fashioned tinkering with LEGOs. I’m personally a fan of the Comedian and Rorschach – they look the most like the original comic. Just wanted to give you my two cents this morning on what I thought about the Watchmen movie. I read the book about six months ago and while I loved the graphic novel, the movie adaption is pure rubbish. So bad, in fact, that I turned the pirated version of the movie off walked out after 40 minutes in. It was slow. It was dull. My three friends and I all agreed that we would rather be doing anything else in a Saturday night but watching the Watchmen.

So yes, that’s the cold hard truth. Those reviews about it being lackluster? Spot on.

While I doubt in almost every way that this is some officially sanctioned publicity stunt, it doesn’t make this blog, written in the voice and style of Watchmen’s very own ink-blot donning protagonist, Rorschach, any less awesome. He walks the streets at nights, documenting the refuse of the city. And now, he has apparently moved his diary to the interwebz.

Rorschach’s Diary isn’t the greatest produced blog of all time. I mean, it IS on Livejournal. Though the frequent postings and similar graphic style serves as a pretty sweet extension to an already classic universe.

Can’t wait for the Watchmen to come out in theaters? Me either. Support Warner Bros. and FOX’s war chest by purchasing these sweet Watchmen-inspired magnets. Watchmen Exclusive

Pumped for the upcoming Watchmen flick that’s directed by Zack Snyder? You betcha. Despite the torrent of legal issues surrounding the film, FOX and Warner Bros., News Corp felt compelled to leak a behind-the-scenes video to MySpace the other day and the result is a video tour de force. Never before has a superhero/supervillian movie based on a comic looked so good before! The power of Dr. Manhattan! Can you even handle this kind of cinema? Let’s hope so.

Despite the ongoing legal battle between 20th Century FOX and Warner Bros. over Watchmen rights, Warner is still flinging press material left and right. Found in some Brazillian publication called SET, there’s four new close-ups of characters from the movie. Rorschach, Dr. Manhattan, The Comedian and the chick who’s fucking Night Owl (sorry, I just finished reading it and already forget half the book) all make an appearance that really gets me hyped for the 2009 release of the movie.
