Contest Time: Shirts, Shirts, Shirts

Alright ladies and gentlemen. It’s a new week. You’re here at Gearfuse and we appreciate that. We asked Loveislame.com to hook us up with two of these “Alfred E. Misfit” shirts that combine the Misfits’ classic skull logo with the face of Mad Magazine’s Alfred E. Neuman. We previously showcased the shirt and now we’re offering you, the reader, a chance to score one. Hit the jump to find out how you can score one of these bad boys.

The Last HOPE: Electronic T-Shirt Design

We came across an interesting display of posters and t-shirts from artist and designer Ray Lam at Iteetoo.com. Ray is inspired by electronic devices and creation and has started reflecting it in some fascinating art he’s designed himself. He has even taken bits and pieces from his abstract art posters and made some clever t-shirt decals for geeks and hackers alike. We are very impressed with his quirky approach towards the fusion of sci-fi and zen.

A Long Overdue T-Shirt for the Internet

Did it really take this long for the guys at Mule Design to think of a snarky t-shirt involving Web 2.0? I hope not. For $20, this Kool-Aid Man shirt will be in heavy rotation until the next ‘net bubble bursts. Just ask Jerry Yang or Michael Arrington. Link (via)

Corporal Stoner

Who says Marines can’t have fun, too?  Somewhere in the world it’s 16:20, which means it’s time to blaze.  So, put down that assault rifle, twist up a spliff and relax, devil dog; someday we’ll be out of this mess. Link (via)

MP3 Player T-Shirt

Anyone who’s into athletics or sports of any kind should consider grabbing one of these t-shirts from Music and Sons. A built-in pocket with a 1/8″ jack connects to your iPod or Zune and a pair of headphones hooks in right behind your neck at the collar. The result? Tangle-free skateboarding/BMXing/log-jamming. With great looking washes and colors, these are dorky t-shirts that’d you’d actually want to wear, unlike others we’ve showcased. Though they’re expensive at $70 a pop, you’ll sleep... Anti-Hunchback Prevents Quasimodo Deficiency

While I sit slouched in my computer chair typing this, I can’t help but wonder what it’d be like if I was wearing a shirt that kept my precious spine straight. The “Ergoskin” is almost that shirt. The device detects bad posture through sensors along the torso and prompts the wearer to correct their posture. So, while it doesn’t do the work for you, it does nag at you like a parent: Someone who has been hunched over a computer... Continue reading

Knife Proof T-Shirt Oddly Not Equally Nipple Proof

The Nihon Uni company, a uniform producer in Chuo Ward, Osaka, has developed a meshy t-shirt that is said to be knife-proof, and could save many from suffering being stabbed or shanked. The strength of the ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene fiber material used to create this shirt can be compared to the material used in aramid fiber body armor. It certainly beats wearing armor made of CDs. Conveniently machine-washable, Momma won’t have any trouble cleaning out the blood stains from... Continue reading

The Six-Fingered Man Is In Deep Shit Now

If the recent Fake Steve Jobs mock turtleneck wasn’t enough to get you all hot and bothered, maybe a Princess Bride reference will be more fitting? Using the classic line from the movie as a design point, this shirt has a fake name tag which says “Hello, My Name Is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.” So for real, go save Princess Buttercup, find yourself an ex-wrestler / unemployed giant from Greenland, and track down that six-fingered... Continue reading
