The A-Z of Awesomeness: An Alternative Method of Learning the Alphabet
The future geeks of America are going to have about as much patience to learn in school as a mouse has patience to escape a mouse trap. Technology has minimized patience to a minimum, thanks to the speed of now. So, how are we going to teach future generations the essentials? Such as reading. The A-Z of Awesomeness caught my attention right away, so I just know that a 12-year-old boy would just be sucked right in. Me and my... Continue reading

Plastic Logic’s E-Newspaper Debuts
A relatively unknown company called Plastic Logic today unveiled it’s new technology called E-Newspaper. Designed to mimic the look but not the feel of newspaper, it’s supposed to put current versions of e-ink, such as the Kindle or eReader, to shame. The unnamed device will make it’s official debut come January 2009 at the Consumer Electronics Show in Vegas (we’ll be there), so until then, one can only dream of both functionality and price. Due out in either Q1 or... Continue reading
Sweet Book-shaped Kids’ Furniture
Erik Olofson is probably the coolest dad a kid could ask for. He’s a craftsman by trade and owns Big Cozy Books, a company that’s going to make a fortune off your kids. BCB designs and manufactures huge book-themed furniture that is intricately detailed and very swanky. Don’t show your children or they’ll be begging you for one until they’re 13. What I want to know is how the hell did Storybook Land never have one of these things? If... Continue reading

But why shell out $14.95 to Borders when they’re not even going to bother to order Vaginal Release, Volume 4 for you? Instead of buying a nightlight book cover, try making your own. I’m sure that if you’ve helped a... Continue reading
