Personally, I’ve never heard of Emek nor seen his work before today. I must say, I am very impressed with not only the style that he works with but the intricate details he adds to his pieces. He’s been doing posters and illustration for over 20 years and has worked with everyone from the Pixies to Audioslave to Cold. As you can see, the human body, especially the skull, is a centerpiece for his work. We came across an interesting display of posters and t-shirts from artist and designer Ray Lam at Iteetoo.com. Ray is inspired by electronic devices and creation and has started reflecting it in some fascinating art he’s designed himself. He has even taken bits and pieces from his abstract art posters and made some clever t-shirt decals for geeks and hackers alike. We are very impressed with his quirky approach towards the fusion of sci-fi and zen.
