Wreckage Found With Steve Fossett Written All Over It

Steve Fossett has been missing for quite some time. Having disappeared during a solo flight expedition without a trace of evidence left in his wake, search teams promptly set out in an effort to discover what became of the millionaire adventurer.  On Monday, a hiker had discovered identification with Fossett’s name on it. Aerial surveillance revealed a wreckage near the town of Mammoth Lakes. California.

“We’re not certain that it belongs to Steve Fossett, but it certainly has his name on the ID,” said Mammoth Lakes, California, Police Chief Randy Schienle.

Is this case closed? I believe risk assessor Robert Davis, who would refuse to assume that Fossett was dead (back in February when his death was declared official), would be satisfied now.

Futuristic Ferrari Resembles Your Favorite Childhood Toy

In the future, cars will move very, very fast. It’s a damn shame our puny little minds will never develop the reflexes and reaction time to operate them manually. So instead, we’ll just slap high tech computers to the engines that’ll automatically drive the car at intensely high speeds for us.

This concept design by Iman Maghsoudi is said to be like any other car. The driver will have total control during low speed travels but once you make the jump to high speeds, the computer takes over and you’ll be off talking on your Ferrari phone without any need to mind the road. We already have the strange looking car designs, now who’s going to design the computer that drives them?

Helicopters Can Fly Upside Down?

Chuck Aaron, the only FAA-certified helicopter stunt pilot in the US, is showing off his piloting skills at the AirVenture show in Oshkosh. The single-manned Martin Jetpack isn’t the only eye popping, sky soaring demonstration going on in Oshkosh. Chuck uses a Eurocopter BO-105 CBS 4 Twin engine helicopter with a fixed rotor kept in the positive pitch allowing it to do aerobatics. Check out the above video to see him do a wicked nose dive that’ll make your nose bleed just by watching.  I hope he’s got a Lifebag in the event of engine failure.
