Pictured above is the infamous N73-clone, called Nokir E828, produced by a mainland Chinese company (NOKIR) next to the real Nokia N73 (on the right), it has been selling well enough to catch Nokia’s attention. UPDATE March 29, 2007: Nokia 5700 3G swivel music phone is for real. Exactly one month ago we showed you a design mock-up of an unknown XpressMusic swivel device from Nokia, last night we received a better and more official picture of the phone, supposedly to be called the 5700. With 3GSM coming up all major phone manufacturers have great products under their sleeves, earlier we wrote about Samsung’s super thin phones, now we have Nokia’s next swivel-music phone. Supposedly this phone will be on the 5000 series, some claimed that it’s going to be a combination of 5500 and 3250, with a swivel design. Perhaps this is something that we have all thought before, but never really tried ourselves. Users in Taiwanese forums have reported that the Sagem 501X can actually take Nokia BL-5C batteries, only that the battery cover will not close. This is only useful news for those who have a Sagem phone and a Nokia phone at the same time.
