Release of First UWB USB Hub Imminent
Belkin has announced that their Cable-Free USB Hub will be released in mid-December. The device employs UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) technology to transmit data from USB devices to your computer. Belkin claims the hub can reach speeds of up to 480MBps at a range of up to 30 feet. The Belkin Cable-Free USB Hub will retail for $200, and will be available in mid-December.
