Ars Technica has a great writeup on the subject of reselling MP3s. CDs are on the way out and I can’t remember the last time I bought one (probably Vampire Weekend). The thing is, you could easily resell a CD. Take the physical media to your local CD shop, trade it in for a few bucks and that’s it. So what about MP3s? But even if it wasn’t free, I’d most likely buy iTouchMidi, a program for both OS X and Windows that will receive MIDI signals from your iPhone or iPod Touch via WiFi. Pretty insane right? So here’s the deal: since 2003, the US Army has been effectively torturing detainees at Guantanamo with scare tactics and other jazz. Sucks to be Coldplay, especially when you’re getting your ass sued by Joe Satriani over alleged copyright infringement. Ever heard that song “Rocked By Rape” that’s made up of AC/DC samples and clips of Dan Rather? No? Ok, then go here. Great. So that’s the Evolution Control Committee.
