Super Mario Bros. Matryoshka Dolls Remind Us of the Motherland

Ahh, matryoshka dolls. What man hasn’t dreamed of ripping a woman in half only to find another woman inside and so on and so forth? I know I have! These matryoshkas just happen to be Super Mario Bros.-flavored. Custom designed by Flickr user cmsturmhous, these dolls would look awesome in any gaming room if you could somehow convince the maker to sell them to you. More pic love after the jump.

8-Bit Flowerpots

If Mario and Peach settled down one day and bought a castle in the countryside, I’d imagine this is what their garden would look like. Though I’m not sure how Mario would feel about a Piranha plant growing in his own backyard. I would imagine a little fire would take care of the job…

Mario Kart: For Real

Meet Remi Gaillard. He’s a real Italian plumber (except he’s French). The kind that drives a go-kart in live traffic, throwing banana peels at those trying to pass him by in an attempt to thwart their course. Yes, this man is playing Mario Kart for real. A hilarious video that’s well made and fun to watch. Don’t miss out. Link [via]

DIY: Paper Mario Hat With Shoddy Graphics

Everyone loves cosplaying as their favorite Italian plumber. All it takes is a red shirt and some overalls and all you’re missing is a hat and phony mustache.  Well, don’t worry about buying some expensive Nintendo-licensed product made of fabric. Instead, make your own Mario hat with nothing more than some paper, printer ink and Band-Aids. Just don’t try grabbing any fire flowers in the Mushroom Kingdom because this hat is anything but flame retardant. Link [via]

Fear And Loathing In The Mushroom Kingdom

What do you get when you mix Hunter S. Thompson with the Mario Brothers? A whole lot of hallucinogenic mushrooms. That joke is the reason I won’t do two shows a night. Link

Super Mario Collages Are Super, Mario

Ahh, geek art. Using your game-loving mentality to create a piece of gamer color that can be proudly shown in your humble abode. We imagine long nights, sipping wine by the fire, the sweet smell of leather book binding perfuming the air, as we gaze upon our ultra-classy, and not tacky in the least Super Mario Wall Art Collages, right next to our jaundice-looking Mario Floppy Disc Art.

Mini Mario and Luigi Make Golfing Far Less Boring

Golf may not be your thing, but chances are gaming is right up your alley–and what gamer wouldn’t dig controlling mini Mario and Luigi golfers with a Famicom style wired remote? The objective is to use the A and B buttons on the remote to help the Bros. put the ball into the hole–it’s the most fun you will have playing golf without wearing retarded pants. First ever Universal Phone Charger

We no longer live in the time of one device call management. People these days own up to four phones sometimes because of their crazy work habits! Crazy, yes, but we’ve seen it happen. The first ever Universal Phone Charger is being shown this week at CEBIT. The AnyFix charger is the product of Prof. Luigi (fitting name for one in the tech industry) Colani, an 80-year-old veteran of the field of industrial design. AnyFix can charge 80% of European...
