Grizzly Bear Bean Bag Won’t Eat Your Face

bear-bean-bag1

Everybody knows that the Grizzly is the most cuddly of bears. Just if they weren’t such assholes. Instead of heading out in to the wild and searching for a real Grizzly Bear to cuddle up with (even though you’ve got one right here baby, rawr), the Big Sleeping Grizzly Bear Bean Bag is not only safer, but might even be a little bit cuddlier.

And it definitely has less teeth then your genitals. Or does it? Buh dum tsh.

Rocking Lounger Bed Calms My Aching Hips

rocking-bed

Being an old woman is tough on my aching muscles. My osteoporosis causes hellish pain in my bones. By the end of the day I need a comfy spot to rest my aging body with a nice mug of hot cocoa.

This Rocking Bed is  like a rocking chair except I can lay down, sort of like the cradle my mother put me in 67 years ago as an infant. Sometimes I miss my mother’s bosom, I must admit. Sometimes I miss being young. But it’s not so bad. My rocking bed keeps my hips at a comfort level I can stand. It’s like a hammock without all of that clumsy balancing.

Interior Decorating With LEGO Furniture

LEGO furnishings for your house can’t possibly be comfortable. Unless you’re a LEGO nutcase like that guy who makes LEGO gummies, there’s no way you could argue that the couch shown above is either visually or aesthetically pleasing. Yet, people all over the world decorate their homes with LEGO furnishings of all varieties.

The French company Luna Blocks specializes in selling life-sized LEGO building blocks for the purpose of assembling furniture. It’s like IKEA except with LEGOs. From safes to low riders, LEGOs come in all shapes and sizes. The same can be said of LEGO’s versatility when coupled with interior design.

Poufman Seats Bare No Resemblance To Pac-Man

No, really. These seats are just coincidentally named Poufman, they’ve got nothing to do with the classic Namco game, Pac-Man. No relation at all. Hell, these seats aren’t even inspired by Pac-Man one bit. If anything, Pac-Man is inspired by these seats.

The designers of Italian company QAYOT were clearly eating a slice of pizza when they spawned the creation of this luxury furniture.  One of the designers took out a slice and was like, “Whoa, Poufman!” And that’s how Poufman was born. It wasn’t until later that the company heard tales of Pac-Man’s existence. So, it can’t be considered an infringement on the trademark established by Namco back in 1980. Or can it?

Why Stay Homeless? Get A Skip

Oliver Bishop-Young, a Goldsmiths University graduate, demonstrated projects regarding skips at the New Designers showcase in London earlier this month. For those not familiar with a skip or what it is, simply put: it’s a dumpster. With the massive amount of idle skips laying around the city and all the crap we throw into landfills, we might as well get something out of it.

So, Oliver set up a website that allows visitors to search for locations of skips throughout London, complete with pictures. Additionally, a group of folks have pitched in converting empty skips into public spaces such as lounge areas, swimming pools and gardens. Even a mini-ramp built in a skip for skateboarding was made from a collection of materials gathered from other skips. All that’s missing is the skip crapper.

The LAMI Chair

After a long day of Apple announcements, I like to kick back and lounge. Like any sane person, I enjoy my lounging in a chair and this LAMI chair from designer Javier Cristiani is just what the doctor ordered.

Made from 100% “standard metal components” and some cheap fabric, the LAMI screams “Europe” to everyone on the beach. It’s made for both indoor and outdoor use, implying that it’s pretty comfortable.
