Sometimes simplicity can be king when designing a product. Case in point: The Brightdoor. A creation from the studio of Lervik Design, Brightdoor works just like a traffic light sans yellow. If the door glows green, it’s unlocked and you can enter. Seeing Red? No entrance for you! Like many unique products, this is just a prototype that isn’t going to be implemented anytime soon. I decided this homebrew LED coffee table is the perfect way to begin a new week. It’s called Da Table and features a grid of LED lights right below the surface of the table. The grid can also be programmed to display a number of messages and patterns through an integrated micro controller. A special city in the US has replaced some of its street lights with LED lights. What city might this be you ask? Well it happens to be Ann Arbor, Michigan, home of the famous University of Michigan Wolverines. Why are they so famous?
