LEGO Pirate Will Steal Your Yellow Bricks

One of our favorite holidays is coming up on September 19th. While technically everyday should be “Talk Like a Pirate Day” for us, September 19th is the day the world comes together and arghs and urghs in harmony. In celebration of this kickass holiday and as an entry for September’s Mini Build Design Contest, Flickr user polywen created this awesome LEGO brick pirate, complete with a creative wooden leg. Just keep an eye on your yellow bricks, they might be... Continue reading

Dude Builds A House (Yes, A House) Out of LEGO Bricks

Former GEARFUSE editor and resident GEARhead, Vince Veneziani, was kind enough to tip us off to this awesome project by Barnaby Gunning, who designed this insanely insane house made entirely of LEGO bricks, not just repaired with the bricks, like we’ve seen in the past. Insane. Oobject has the low down on the house with an interview with the architect himself. The progress of the LEGO house is looking insane. Though I imagine the architectural integrity would be as fragile... Continue reading

Cheeky Squirrel Attacks Again

I see a very strong resemblance.

LEGO Satan is Not Satisfied With Your Brick Creation

You’ve tried everything. You’ve tried rebuilding damaged architecture with LEGOs. You’ve tried building crazy reconstructions of video game characters. Hell, you’ve even tried recreating other forms of geek media with brick art. And guess what. None of your efforts have amused LEGO Satan. That deal you made with the devil for a lifetime supply of Jolt cola in exchange for either an awesome LEGO toy or your soul, whichever comes first, isn’t looking like the best decision you’ve ever made.... Star Wars Clone Wars Action Shots in LEGO Form

The Tour de Force project by Ochre Jelly depicts action scenes based on the Star Wars’ Clone Wars universe, but with a twist. The scenes are composed of awesome LEGO sculptures. Jelly has a unique take on Star Wars LEGO building. I really love the use of LEGO bricks to create the illusion of lightsaber movement.

“OMG! They Killed Kenny!” LEGO Brick Sculpture Creation

Two things can be expected when watching an episode of South Park. One, you’re bound to laugh at something, even if it’s in disgust. Two, a heavily jacketed boy by the name of Kenny McCormick is going to die in some gory manner, every time without fail. This OMG! They Killed Kenny! LEGO Brick Sculpture was created by Dirk VH. The design is complete with an axe shot to the head and the resulting gore. You bastards! Link [via]

LEGO Luigi is Tired of Mario’s Shit

So, I was chilling with Luigi the other day and he’s all like, “Yo dawg, I’m mad sick over Mario poppin’ up in all my shit, aight?” So I was all like, “Well, Luigi, buddy old pal, you’re going to have to do something to overshadow Mario’s incredible reach.” Luigi concurred. Hence, he commisioned this magnificent LEGO self-portrait. Composed of 80 layers of LEGO bricks and standing 77 cm. tall, Luigi figures that he should at least get his 15... Continue reading

LEGO Safe Won’t Protect from Sledge Hammer, Children Over Six

It’s a brick world, baby. But some gadgets, believe it or not, are better left un-brick-ified. While this LEGO Safe looks killer, I sincerely doubt that it would do much good protecting your valuables. The most I would store in here is maybe a few other LEGO bricks, some spare change, perhaps you could throw your stash in as well. Despite its fragility, this is one awesome piece of work. Check out the video after the jump to scope out... Continue reading

LEGO Belt Buckle Brings Bricks to your No-No Region

It’s difficult not to have a hard-on for LEGO bricks when you live in the world of the geek. Everywhere you turn is another awesome or surprisingly useful implementation of these versatile bricks. Crafty designers Dee & Ricky have composed a set of LEGO-inspired fashion which includes this awesome LEGO Brick Belt Buckle. Also included are various bow-ties, headbands and other standard fare. This belt buckle costs a hefty $85, but what else would you expect out of fine art?... Continue reading

LEGO Fire Skull: Fewer Bricks Than You Might Think

Bricks aren’t the only neat buildables offered by LEGO. The LEGO flame attachments have their own little sub-culture of fandom, as seen through this awesome LEGO Fire Skull built by resident LEGO pyro Billy McGill. If your friends are more of the death metal-type, they might not be all that impressed with other styles of LEGO modeling. But this skull is a creation fit for the pit of a Slayer concert. Link [via]
