Kaws Stormtrooper Figurine

Design superstar Kaws got the inspiration for his latest creation from the iconic Star Wars Stormtrooper. This figurine combines Kaws’ signature skeleton with the classic uniform of the evil Imperial clone troops.

Details about the Kaws stormtrooper are in short supply, but Hypebeast says it’s rumored to be a limited release for the OriginalFake store in Tokyo. This isn’t the first time Kaws has made a piece influenced by Star Wars. Last year, he made a Darth Vader figurine that was also an exclusive for his Tokyo store.

Mickey Mouse Returns As A Jedi

Ah yes, another Monday, another fantastic day filled with Star Wars goodness. Someone better call Lando. No, It’s not a party so don’t go grabbing case after case of Colt 45 malt liquor just yet. I just thought Lando would be interested in these $200 figurines. They’re a fusion of Disney and Star Wars characters. You’ve got Mickey Mouse as Luke, Minnie Mouse as Queen Amidala, Donald Duck as Darth Maul and Goofy as a confused Jar Jar Binks.

Where’s Darth Vader? He could have easily been modeled after Pete, Mickey’s arch-rival. Geez, I’m the only one who cares and this is going to put a damper on my whole week. Thanks a lot Disney.

A toy we can relate to, the 40-Year-Old Virgin Talking Doll

40_year_old_virgin_doll.jpg

We’d have to do some research, but we’re pretty confident that middle-aged virgins are among the highest niche demographic of viewers we receive from our daily traffic. We’re not positive, just a hunch. Most action heroes have nothing, but braun and super powerful chop motion. Andy from The 40-Year-Old Virgin just has his never before used penis.

The release of this talking Andy doll, themed from the movie of the same name, is another addition to the recently released action figurines of people who really have no significant powers. Other than the power of laughter maybe. Yet, we laugh at them, not with with them. Check it out for $16.99. Vid after the jump. (more…)

I now pronounce you, Mii and Mii. You may kiss the Wii.

Gamer geeks have got to stick together. Sometimes, this even means getting married. And what would be a gamer wedding without gamer props? A couple getting married commissioned a pair of Mii figurines which will replace the typical bride and groom figures placed on top of the wedding cake.

These Mii figurines are a product of MiiSculpture, a company which will custom make a likeness of your Mii character, immortalizing your legendary gaming years. These figurines typically take around 3-4 weeks to ship because of their handmade craftsmanship. They also have a impressive selection of celebrity Mii figurines pictured on their site, including Bill Gates and Chuck Norris. — Andrew Dobrow
