Steampunk Dishwashes Cleans Your Utensils, Armor

steampunkdishwash

Prefer a Coat of Arms over a peacoat? Rayguns over the mighty handgun? We feel you. Your love of Steampunk culture is what keeps the DIY movement going and DVD sales of Blade Runner high. If you’re sick of turning electronics and computers into Steampunk creations, try giving your dishwasher the tile treatment. With a little brass and handiwork, your significant other won’t mind what you’ve done to the world’s greatest appliance as long as you’re the one emptying it every night.

coo.boo: The spatula-shaped digital cookbook

cooboo_001_1.jpg

We find so many great recipes for our woman to cook for us on the Internet, but there is no way to give them the recipe unless we want to print out the whole thing. What a waste of paper! The coo.boo is a spatula-shaped digital cookbook that automatically syncs through a wireless dock. The coo.boo is completely washable and is shaped like a spatula so it can be hung on a rack with the rest of your supplies.

The coo.boo is intended to fit into the kitchen better than a normal cookbook. The coo.boo offers a variety of support items, which can be picked and chose while cooking. It seems like a great idea, just don’t go flipping your flap jacks with this spatula. And hey, even if you do, just throw it in the dishwasher. — Andrew Dobrow

We hate, hate, hate chores. It takes precious time away from our gadgetry life. Hmm, if there was just a way to mix the two together. *sigh* But hope is not lost! We’ve come across this amazing contraption designed by Leonardo Bonanni. The DishMaker totally eliminates the need for cleaning your dishes.

Using the wonders of the properties of acrylic, the DishMaker recycles your dishes. Breaking down and reassembling the raw material of your wares whenever need be. And it only takes up about the same amount of space as a dishwasher. Extremely cool. Take the jump for a video introduction to the DishMaker. (more…)
