While you’re sure to get some strange looks from both sneering fashionistas and mildly frightened parents, you can’t help but enjoy the honesty of this t-shirt. Remember that show The Incredible Crash Test Dummies? It makes you wonder: what’s so incredible about crash test dummies, anyway? It’s probably because they come in all different shapes and sizes. Short ones, fat ones, little ones and even tall ones plant their ass in a driver seat and brace for impact.

Oobject must be fans of the 1993 Dummies cartoon show, because it’s posted a collection of crash test dummies used in a variety of different situations. Bet you didn’t know that a motorcycle-riding crash test dummy is made up differently than that of a pedestrian crash test dummy just waiting to be run over at a crosswalk.

Personally, I’ve never heard of Emek nor seen his work before today. I must say, I am very impressed with not only the style that he works with but the intricate details he adds to his pieces. He’s been doing posters and illustration for over 20 years and has worked with everyone from the Pixies to Audioslave to Cold. As you can see, the human body, especially the skull, is a centerpiece for his work. Releasing an average of only 300 posters per event, Emek’s works are highly sought after by both art collectors and fans alike. Check out more of his work after the jump.

Happen to be in the New York City area? Then check out the robots on display at the City Foundry, 365 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. These robot sculptures were created by Gordon Bennett out of a mixture of random objects found which are both old and new. These aren’t robotic bartenders trying to get you drunk so they can take advantage of you. No, they’re more on par with the felt robots, they just sit there and look pretty.

Bennett is even willing to sell some of the robot sculptures, if you give him an offer he can’t refuse. The sculptures are going from anywhere between $750 to $6000. That’s a lot for an old battery tester with legs.
