Diesel Is Now Making Motorcycle Helmets

diesel_helmetsjpg

Undd yah! Gud to see you my friend! I just got back from Austria and we had such a fun time! Anyways, darling, I lost so much weight on the trip that I’ve got to go shopping. Let’s go to SoHo on my Vespa and we’ll go buy clothes at Diesel and Uniqlo. After a nosh of course!

Oh what what? Come here girl ’cause you have gotta see this. Look at these motherfuckers! Diesel! Making motorcycle helmets? This looks like some of that Top Gun type shit, girl! Anti-scratch protection? UV filtering? I had to get anti-scratch protection last month after a nice lady in Munich gave me crabs. Never visit Munch, by the way.

Sweet Super Mario Brothers 3 T-Shirt

smb3tshirt

Spotted in the wild grounds of Tumblr, someone posted a picture of this old school Super Mario Bros. 3 shirt. That yellow! That color! How on earth did this anonymous gentleman keep it in such good condition for nearly 20 years?

Either way, I want one. Get in touch.

The Exploded 2600 Shirt

2600shirts

Classic gamers demand classic shirts. Get inside your old Atari 2600 with this custom t-shirt that details the inner workings of the first popular home console. Sure, you can’t play classics like Centipede or Pitfall, but you’ll earn some respect the next time you roll up to the arcade wearing this number. At $17, it’s the perfect gift for the gamer in your life who just doesn’t feel like dealing with modern technology.

Resident Evil Apparel Hits The Auction Block

re-green-vest-tag

Consider yourself a true Resident Evil fan? Did you change your name to Albert Wesker? If you consider yourself the “master of all lockpicking,” then break out that credit card and get ready to drain your bank account. Some dude on eBay is selling a bunch of official Biohazard/Resident Evil apparel and it won’t come cheap. You’ll find vests from Code Veronica going for $710 and plenty of Raccoon City Police Department attire to match (in both price and style). What gives? Where’s Leon Kennedy’s gear at?

Very cool, but nobody is going to dish out this kind of money during a recession. You can tell this is the real deal, though; just check out that horrible Engrish on the label!

LittleBigApparel

Here’s a great DIY that involves knitting and LittleBigPlanet. Etsy user ShadowsInTheNyte knitted up some winter caps that are all inspired by gaming. There’s a hat inspired by Kirby, one that takes after the famous Final Fantasy Moogle and of course, a brilliant Sackboy hat. It’s just scary how good these hats look when compared to the actual games. There’s one Sackboy hat left and it’s a steal at $21. If you don’t head over and buy it, I might have to.

What If Your NES Played Shoes Instead Of Cartidges?

Nike is crazy about Nintendo. Not only does it make shoes that emulate the retro stylings of the classic NES controller, but now it’s producing t-shirts modeled after the packaging of the classic Nintendo Duck Hunt game. The only difference is Nike shoes have taken the place of the traditional packaging showcasing the NES cart. Oh, that and it now says DUNK HUNT!

And because it’s Nike, you know it’s top quality merchandise produced overseas and sold in the States at a knocked up price. $30 for any t-shirt would be murder, but for a Duck Hunt t-shirt – it’s the best value you can find!

Steve Jobs and The Search For A New Look

Jim Lynch over at Extreme Tech wrote a funny post we just couldn’t ignore. Almost the entire column goes over how much Steve Jobs is in dire need of a wardrobe intervention. All of his clothes are either too short or too baggy due to his recent loss of weight. C’mon Steve, you’ve got cash, you can afford leather. Anything but those horrid workout clothes you’re always sporting. What would you want to see Steve in? Pierre Cardin? BOSS?

Got Phelps?

After winning 8 gold medals, the amazing Michael Phelps has been compared to just about every oceanic life form existing on our planet. Yes, Michael Phelps has even been compared to a sea urchin. Of course this has led to an epidemic of Phelps apparel that everyone and their mother will be adorning for the next 30 years or more.

Fashionablygeek.com has compiled an assortment of Phelps t-shirts and gear (including the $500 swimsuit). So, show your support and grab the one that suits your style best. Then when Phelps takes gold at London in 2012, you can claim you’ve been a fan long before Beijing.

The Last HOPE: Electronic T-Shirt Design

We came across an interesting display of posters and t-shirts from artist and designer Ray Lam at Iteetoo.com. Ray is inspired by electronic devices and creation and has started reflecting it in some fascinating art he’s designed himself. He has even taken bits and pieces from his abstract art posters and made some clever t-shirt decals for geeks and hackers alike. We are very impressed with his quirky approach towards the fusion of sci-fi and zen.
