Ok, my marching season just started for my high school and i just switched from playing trumpet to sousa ( since theres like 50 trumpets, 9 sousa’s, 350 total ) due to a low amount of tubas/sousa’s so my band director wanted me to try it out since i’ve literally played most instruments in the brass section and found them quite easy. But never have i come across something so fucking difficult to change my whole embouchure to. I played baritone like it was cake but this is soo difficult. A simple Bb scale took me 2 days to get out. AND MY LEFT SHOULDER HURTS SO FUCKING BAD. But i love it <3 haha.

I know! Me too. I currently play sousaphone in marching band as well, and I’m planning on staying with it through college. I would have loved to know about the games so I could get one. Though I have noticed that the reports are seriously templated and the pictures looks strangely photoshopped.
