R2-S2 (R2 Steam Too): Steam-Powered droid

The R2-S2 (short for R2 Steam Too) is as the name suggests, a steam-powered R2-D2 unit. Something about the R2 droid from Star Wars has sparked something in our consciousness recently to be prominently displayed through culture recently, as can be seen from the R2-D2 mailbox.

The R2-S2 is no speed demon, but as it says on the design site “it still holds the record for fastest steam-powered R2 in the galaxy”. Most importantly, the R2-S2 just looks badass as hell, running off of an old Cheddar Boiler, which fits perfectly in the droid’s body.
