One-handed Xbox 360 Controller

That son of a bitch. Looks like Ben Heckendorn, console hacker extraordinaire, has created a one-handed Xbox 360 controller. Not only is it the wireless version and ridiculous, it’s also for sale. Yes, Ben has decided to step outside his box of making one-off portable consoles and has created a controller that will be readily available for purchase.

For the low price of $130, you get a controller that is both unique and useless. You’re telling me you’re going to beat Mass Effect one-handed? Not when you have one hand on the controller and the other down the front of your pants.

  1. Wow ! Thats’ pretty damn impressive. If only I could get rid of this damn 2nd arm.

  2. I think this post misses the intended purpose of this controller, which is to make videogames more accessible to people who only have the use of one hand, which is a noble pursuit.

I’m no internet troll, but you really need to take your head out of your ass dude.

This will greatly improve the quality of life for someone out there.

  3. Adam,

Not sure who you’re directing the hostility towards, but I do see your point. This could really open the doors to someone physically handicapped.

Thought I gotta admit, I don’t see how it would make it any easier than the standard controller.

  4. Want to play video games but only have one hand? PC gaming is where it’s at.

  5. Maybe someone like me that can’t use his fingers well cause im a quadraplegic

  6. i dun no if you ment to or not but this is actualy a useful prodoct for more than fat people, have you all ever tried to play the xbox with 1 arm tied behind your back, well its not easy but some people have no choice, weither they were in an accident or had their arm blown off in a war, it would be usefull to them

  7. Wow, vince your a prick, my buddy has no use of his right hand… oh wait the whole right side of his body… find a different job, because you suck at this one, your supposed to write for the reader, do some fucking research and find out that most of the people that read this are looking at buying one, as im trying to get my buddy one for his birthday, if i ever met you id show you as much respect ass the toilet paper i wipe my ass with, well thats it, hope you feel good about yourself

  8. My buddy lost his arm in a car wreck last week and gets out of the hospital in a month and He loves video games and at least with him he was right handed and lost his left arm,so this will be perfect for him and If I ever saw any of you fucks talkin shit even fucking look at him wrong I would Break your fucking knee caps fucking bitches.

  9. That’s ok, Mike. I don’t need my kneecaps for gaming.

  10. i think that thiscontroller is something great for those who only have use of 1 one hand.like my brother he was shot 4 times in his head and still is alive and well but can only use his left hand and he really misses playing his xbox espeacially since he is limited to things he can do .i would love to know how i can go about buying 1 of these amazing controllers for my brother so that he can enjoy his game again.please let me know how i can buy it..

  11. One handed gaming…that’s what I’m trying to figure out how to do for my sister who had a surprise stroke at a young age and is now confined to a nursing home with elderly people. She has no one she can relate to, nothing wrong with her mind and half her body, but she cannot use one hand. She’s bored to tears and would like to play some games. I’m trying to figure out a way to make that happen, and with some decent games. As one poster above suggested, maybe pc is the best way to go.

  12. I lost complete use of my Left arm in a motorcycle accident while I was stationed in Japan. I love to play video games and I just got the Xbox 360 Slim. The controller is not very friendly to the one handed player at all. I manage to play most games, but is dificult and I get my ass kicked in multi player because I just can press all the buttons when I need to . A one handed controller would solve everything. Hell, if they even made it so that I could press the buttons with my feet and use my one hand for the sticks, I’d be happy. So far this controller looks to be the best one. However, I just started looking. The price is a little steep though.
