Seriously though, other than the text book industry, I think the printer ink industry is the number one price gouging enterprise. There’s no reason I should be paying more for ink than for a damn printer. I’d rather go drain an octopus.

you do realise the reason for the price difference is that the printers don’t come with full ink cartridges. The new ones last much longer and save alot of closet space.
