Take a trip to Akbuk Bay, Turkey and you might be surprised what you find. Scattered along the shore are cottages which strike flashback images in my head of the sleepless nights I spent devoting my life to saving Princess Peach from the Goombas.

Seriously, how awesome would it be to live inside of a 1up mushroom? And were these homes designed to resemble them? If it weren’t for a lack of  polka dots on its red top, I would say definitely.
