Best Buy’s Black Friday ad has leaked, which means it’s time to do some serious itinerary planning for the big day. See, I like me and my fiancee set up a full contingency plan based on what we want the most for us, then comes gifts for others. Come on, we need to set priorities people! Strategy is the name of the game on Black Friday.

So Best Buy has some moderately cool deals, especially in the video game department, but nothing mind-blowing. Though what might be notable is that Best Buy is not going to allow for anyone to get hurt this year because of their doorbuster deals. Apparently they don’t take “death by stampede” lightly. All doorbuster sales will be handled via tickets, which will be passed out up to two hours before the 5 am door openings. Hit the jump for a full-list of Black Friday Best Buy deals. I have a major drinking problem. And that problem is that I can’t sit back with a chilly brew when I’m on the move. Whether I’m at work or waiting for the the train, I need a constant flow of beer flowing down my gullet and until now that just wasn’t possible unless I wanted to carry around one of those hobo specials, the brown bags of wonder. Because lord knows I can’t carry around my usual beer stein.

The Port-A-Pint collapsible beer cup has saved me from many a desperate situations. Passing a kegger party and totally cupless? No more! Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking.

It might seem like some sort of lazy fantasy, but a Japanese astronaut recently tested out a pair of J-Wear anti-bacterial, flame retardant, antistatic, and water-absorbent briefs which are supposedly wearable for weeks at a time.

Astronaut Koichi Wakata says he wore the panties for about a month and received nary a complaint. That’s great that they can use them in space, but when will they be available for more practical use, such as playing WoW for weeks at a time without changing my clothes (I’m pictured above after one of my WoW marathons. Warcraft is great for my tight abs.)

Director of Spider-Man, Drag Me to Hell and Evil Dead, Sam Raimi, will be directing an upcoming live-action film adaptation of the World of Warcraft, tentatively titled “Warcraft.”  Raimi said, of the game: “At its core, Warcraft is a fantastic, action-packed story.” And so it goes.

Can Raimi make Warcraft an exception of the usual game-based film flops? He’s got a great canvas to work with and the potential for tons of sequels. The lore of Warcraft runs deep.

An exciting rumor is floating around the gaming world. Thanks to the power of data mining, hackers have uncovered some interesting new data in the newest patch of World of Warcraft. Hidden in the patch are Halloween mask models, which are used during the in-game Halloween festivities, allowing your toon to dress up like a different race.

The important piece of information here is the the appearance of Goblin and Worgen masks. In years past, the masks have traditionally been able to disguise characters as races already present in the game. These mask models could suggest that the Goblin and Worgen will be included as new playable races in the next expansion, rumored to be called Cataclysm.

What’s particularly interesting is that until now, I don’t recall ever seeing a Worgen which appeared so feminine. In fact, these Worgen would appear to be a different species than their wilder kin. The Gnome would be a suitable addition to the horde, a counter to the tiny alliance Gnomes.

Us WoW addicts have been waiting for awhile for an iPhone app which can fill our need for the World of Warcraft when we’re not at our computer. Finally, Blizzard has released their World of Warcraft Mobile Armory application for the iPhone.

The app is a fully-featured WoW Armory in the palm of your hand, including the ability to view your toon, guild, Arena team or any item in the WoW universe, as well as the capability to view your game calendar, view the leaderboards and even plan out your talent specs. You can download the app from iTunes now.

Have a few dead computer mouses laying around? They’re probably sitting in the same spot you keep the skeletons in your closet. You might be having some trouble parting with them. And that’s fine, totally normal. People become attached to inanimate objects all the time.

So, if you want to actually do something USEFUL with those dead mice, you might as well sit down at your work bench for a few minutes, wipe down the foot of dust on its surface from its lack of use, and strip down the mouse so you can use it as a nifty toothbrush / razor holder. Why the hell not, right?

Instead of only being annoyingly childish in Barrens chat, now you can tweet all of your testosterone-fueled Chuck Norris quotes to the entire world using TweetCraft, the first Twitter client for World of Warcraft, just like nature intended.

TweetCraft not only allows you to tweet and receive tweets in-game, but allows you to tweet snapshots from your gaming experience, queue tweets for convenience and even auto-tweet whenever you log-on to the game. Who knows how long this unofficial client will last. Blizzard has been known to put their foot down in several similar situations.

All of you tree-hugging druids out there are about to get your own custom bear form and honestly, it looks pretty neat. The Tauren is getting their own, why not the Night Elves as well?

Blizzard is slowly rolling out the models for the new form changes coming soon to your nearest World of Warcraft screen. The models have definitely been cleaned up, with sleeker fine edges and shiny night elf eyes. Exciting? I think so.

Like it or not, Microsoft has managed to dominate the console market in just a few years. The company just announced that it has sold over 30 million Xbox 360s around the world. In addition to that impressive number, Microsoft has 20 million Xbox Live subscribers. By comparison, Activision-Blizzard’s World of Warcraft has around 12 million. Talk about a cash cow.
