Best Buy’s Black Friday ad has leaked, which means it’s time to do some serious itinerary planning for the big day. See, I like me and my fiancee set up a full contingency plan based on what we want the most for us, then comes gifts for others. Come on, we need to set priorities people! Strategy is the name of the game on Black Friday.

So Best Buy has some moderately cool deals, especially in the video game department, but nothing mind-blowing. Though what might be notable is that Best Buy is not going to allow for anyone to get hurt this year because of their doorbuster deals. Apparently they don’t take “death by stampede” lightly. All doorbuster sales will be handled via tickets, which will be passed out up to two hours before the 5 am door openings. Hit the jump for a full-list of Black Friday Best Buy deals. If he has trouble squeezing you in, here’s a nice back-up plan. The $.99 iPhone app Car Finder uses augmented reality to help you find your car. Car Finder guides you to your car using easy to follow walking instructions and even marks your spot with a little icon. Now all you have to do is remember to actually set the app before you leave your car.

The carrier file which enables MMS messaging on the iPhone is now live on iTunes. So a feature that should have been included from the get-go has just now gone live… more than two years later. Right. We love AT&T.

Better later than never I suppose. At least it’s working.

Only an hour before I predicted, people are already starting to freak out about not having the MMS update appear in iTunes yet, despite AT&T’s insistence that the update will appear in mid-afternoon for us Easterners and late morning for the west coast.

Head over to AT&T’s Facebook page for a mildly entertaining look into the mind of geeks. Man… we are an angry breed.

The big news this Friday is that MMS is finally coming to the coveted iPhone, which is great, because I’m sick of hearing people bitch about it. We actually thought we’d see MMS enabled with the big 3.0 update, but nope, took a few more months than expected while AT&T got their shit together. Let’s all get MMS, send off our first message and forget that the service even exists. That’s how it’s going to be.

Anyway, if you’re following along, AT&T will be upgrading your phone tomorrow via your carrier settings. Your iPhone will have to be plugged into iTunes for the update to take effect. AT&T plans to release the update by early afternoon EST.

So basically, you can bet your ass that around noon tomorrow Twitter will be in an outrage, full of people enraged that they haven’t received their MMS yet. Prepare for an onslaught of #myfirstmms hash tags.

Big news already, and there are still hours until Apple’s big “It’s Only Rock and Roll” iPod event. Apple has slashed the prices of all of their iPod models, the current iPod Touch models getting the biggest price cut; the 8GB model slashed from $229 down to $189, the 16 GB down to $249 (from $299) and the 32 GB model is now $279, down from the high price of $399.

Classics and Nanos also took a moderate price break. The 120 GB Classic is now down to $229, down from $249, and the Nano models being slashed down from $149 and $199 for the 8 GB and 16 GB models respectively, down to $129 and $149. Apple is definitely making room for something new in the iPod department.

And is it me, or did the 80 GB Classic get the boot? Or is that old news? Help me out here people.
