hipDisk: Move your music to the hips

picture-1.jpg

Perhaps the most undignified musical instrument of all time, the hipDisk allows the wearer to play chromatic scales and basic melodies using their flexibility and hip swinging speed. All using your hips and torso to create music.

Using soft switches strategically placed around the disk, these switches signal what notes to play as you swivel your buttocks. Much like the game Dance Dance Revolution, the hipDisk relates tones through core body gestures, using a physical interface. — Andrew Dobrow
