Sony has released their “Europe and Hong Kong only” 12GB Playstation 3 online in its US store.
What does this release mean? Well it means that if you’re looking for a more affordable albeit low memory version of the PS3 then you’re in luck. Buying the 12GB PS3 in the Sony online store will save you $70 over the 500GB PS3 but if you’re a serious gamer keep in mind that the extra $70 will save you a lot of frustration in the long run. We say go big or go home.
