The Grand Canyon SkyWalk has finally received its first visitors. The SkyWalk, which will open to the public on March 28th, 2007, extends 70 ft out from the canyon’s rim and can sustain winds of up to 100 mph. Viewers on the SkyWalk will get a grand scale view at a height of 4,000 feet, more than twice the height from the top of Taipei, the world’s tallest building.

The SkyWalk can hold a maximum of 120 people at any given time and will cost thrill seekers $25 in addition to the admission fee to the national site. Images from the SkyWalk are breathtaking. Actually being there must be a life changing experience of beauty.
