Recently I bought an iPod classic because of storage limitations. 8GB is a bit little with high quality audio, but the A800 rips the iPod apart on audio. So I'm sticking with the A800 for now. Also, after two years, the battery is still fine and gives about 30h of music. It's a shame Sony doesn't have MP3 players in the range of 160+GB.
