&lt;p&gt;the 703i will be able to roam to hong kong, per se. but roaming only, somebody will have to pay the bill for you in Japan.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;besides it&#039;s not even out in the market yet, probably late feb early march&lt;/p&gt;
