DIY: Vintage Radio with Wi-Fi goodness

There’s something about the look and feel of vintage radios that will never lose its classic touch. This DIY project allows you to keep that vintage edge, while adding in a touch of modern technology. At first glance, you might be fooled into thinking it’s just a restored antique. But then you’ll notice the LCD screen.

Using the casing of an old radio and the innards of a Wi-Fi radio, you can create a cool reproduction of classic vintage mixed with the smooth sound of modern technology and LCD aesthetics. You’ll need to have some extra dough in your bank account and a crafty mentality to pain the casing back to a restored feel, but from there, you’re home free.
