Good news for people who look like shit in sunglasses, but awful news for those who love their light eye color. These transition contact lenses are the first of their kind. They might someday eliminate the need for people with contacts to ever worry about toting their glasses around at all.

There are surely some of you who have held out on contacts simply because you enjoy having your transitive lens frames. Luckily, the Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) in Singapore has developed the first true set of transitive contact lenses which automatically adapt to the current lighting conditions. Lucas Maassen and Dries Verbruggen had a crazy idea. Not only did they have a crazy idea, but they acted on that very oddity. And that’s how you get things done, no matter how nutso the concept might seem.

This proof-of-concept Brainwave Sofa device takes raw EEG data and creates a piece of furniture based on your very thoughts.

The extracted EEG data was used to create a 3D landscape with the x-axis representing the frequency of brainwave activity in hertz, the y-axis is the percentage of activity, and the z- axis is time. The sofa was then created in its physical form by a five axis computer numerical controlled machine, which creates a three dimensional object out of foam.

A study conducted by a UCLA research team concluded that searching the net can increase your brain function, further confirming that I’m a genius (or so says all of the internet IQ tests, that’s right, all of them baby.)

The study followed the brain activity of 24 adults aged 55 and 78 years old, half of which had little to no previous internet experience. The results clearly showed changed brain function which led to keener senses, higher intelligence and a huge pulsating penis.

We are sick, disgusting individuals. About 95% of people claim they wash their hands after taking a piss or poopy, but as you can imagine, the actual percentage of people who actually do so is far less.

A new public health study tracked the bathroom doings of over 200,000 individuals and the results were staggering. Only 64% of females washed their hands while only 32% of men washed theirs. This is one time that I’m actually embarrassed to be male.
