I’m one of those guys who brings a camera with him wherever he goes. I don’t think about it as much as I should, but I imagine I can make people pretty uncomfortable by snapping photos of them when they least expect it. Some people get pretty antsy when I whip out my point-and-shoot. And I guess I can’t blame them.

That’s why these Photographer Disclaimer T-Shirts might become an essential piece of my wardrobe. These shirts warn the public that I might be apt to whip out a camera at any moment. So if you don’t like flash photography, you might want to steer clear. The “Beware of Photographer” ($30) and “Flasher” ($24) tees are both available from RedBubble.

Disappointing isn’t it? I assumed that you’d just click a photo and out would fly a massive fist. But, nope, this concept is a lot more harmless. A lot less of your enemy’s blood is included. Instead of the satisfying snap of your bully’s nose, YOU snap a picture, YOU punch the damn camera, YOU take the punch-out photo out of the device and hand it to the subject.

So yeah, this camera involves a lot of action from you that doesn’t involve running in the opposite direction of the cops. Snap the shot, shove in a piece of paper, punch, and the camera turns any image into a punched design with a digital copy also stored for good measure. Hope this thing is durable. Sometimes I don’t know my own strength.

Hidden spy cameras aren’t anything new. You’ve been able to order them out of catalogs and off the ‘net for years now. However, take a look at this necktie. Can you spot the camera? I barely could when I looked at this photo the first time. I’m pretty sure as long as you can manage to keep your tie on during whatever recon mission you’re on, you’re going to get the shot. At $66 for the 2GB version, it’s also one of the cheaper solutions. All you need now is something worth shooting. What would you record with a hidden pinhole camera?

Sprint-Nextel’s commercials last summer were decent but I think the Germans have us Americans beat on the light art. If you want to try your own light art out, grab a digital camera and a glowstick or download an iPhone app.
