Best. College. Prank. Ever.: R2-D2 Observatory

There’s more genius to this prank then meets the eye. A group of students at Minnesota’s Carleton College decided that the school’s very own Goodsell Observatory was due for a face lift. The real genius behind this prank is that the students did not turn to defacement to achieve the droid they were looking for. This group of enterprising young whipper-snappers used pieces of painted fabric draped over Goodsell to transform the observatory into everybody’s favorite little astromech midget.

Like I said: Best college prank ever.
