AV Clash lives up to its name, delightfully

Who says Flash is dead? Created by Video Jack Studios, AV Clash is a deceptively simple web-based tool for playing with sound and visual pattern, built with a certain deprecated multimedia platform. The video above gives a sense of how it works, but you really should just click over and fiddle with it yourself.

There’s a surprising amount of functionality hidden in those whorls and loops. And it’s a lot of fun. At some point you will say, “too bad it’s not an iPhone app.” Stop it. it’s free! It’s fun! It’s on the World Wide Web! News of the death of which has been greatly exaggerated.
