Audio Ruler Measures Out Loud

It appears that the folks at Crayola have been branching out beyond the world of crayons and markers into the world of cheap but useful gadgetry with this new Total Tools Audio Ruler.

The ruler measures up to one foot in eighth-inch increments. Just flip open the cover, turn the unit on, hold down the button and draw a line using disappearing ink. When the button is released the pen will read the length of the line aloud. You can even choose to hear an alternative “silly, nonsensical measurement” — which is great because accuracy is vastly overrated. Available for $7.99. — Sean Fallon
