Ever since Disney bought Marvel, we’ve heard loads of predictions and quips and seen enough mash-ups to last us a lifetime. Well, maybe the non-geek lifetime. Us true geeks never see enough mash-ups.
That’s why when we saw that Photoshop community Worth1000 had taken on the Disney/Marvel combo, we knew that greatness was to follow. And the results did not disappoint. Check out a few of our favorites after the jump.
If Star Wars was reproduced as a modern parody, who would be cast in the hilariously sacrilegious resulting film? Photoshop contest headquarters Worth1000.com has it covered with their Celebrity Star Wars contest.
My three favorites are Yoda DeVito, Ewokchop and Elvis Solo. Lambchop just looks so much cuddlier as an Ewok!
While it’s not the work of untooning master Pixeloo (the artist behind the untooned versions of Jessica Rabbit, Homer Simpson, and Super Mario), this untooning attempt, which was an entry to a Worth1000 “Reality Cartoon” Photoshop contest, comes pretty damn close to the master himself.
