Best Buy’s Black Friday ad has leaked, which means it’s time to do some serious itinerary planning for the big day. See, I like me and my fiancee set up a full contingency plan based on what we want the most for us, then comes gifts for others. Come on, we need to set priorities people! Strategy is the name of the game on Black Friday.

So Best Buy has some moderately cool deals, especially in the video game department, but nothing mind-blowing. Though what might be notable is that Best Buy is not going to allow for anyone to get hurt this year because of their doorbuster deals. Apparently they don’t take “death by stampede” lightly. Upskirts are sort of a phenomenon in the porn industry, especially the among the Japanese population. Creepy men with hidden cameras scout the streets for unsuspecting ladies and broadcast their unbelievably sexy findings on the web. Watching these videos is sort of a blurry area of the law.

Back in 2007 we had the opportunity to review the iMainGo Portable iPod Speaker System, which at the time, sent ripples of excitement though the MacWorld crowd. No more did we have to lug around a clunky pair of speakers just so we could hear some tunes somewhere other than inside our own homes.

iMainGo was nice enough to ship us their new iMainGo 2 which now offers compatibility with the iPhone, iPod Touch and Zune devices. The design remains similar to the original. albiet a little room added to compensate for the iPhone’s size, as does the overall great sound quality for such a compact device (I’m authentically blown away by the powerful sound supplied from such a compact device, literally transportable by hand) and no worries, it still offers the massive 30 hours of battery life.

Let me be straight up now, so I don’t drag you along for the ride. This iPod dock is a limited-edition gadget so it costs around $340. If you’ve got the dough, great, but I just thought you’d like to know before you read further and soil yourself in excitement.

With only 100 made, the Music Label – Exile “Perfect Year” Convoy iPod Docking Bay includes a set of built-in speakers and is compatible with every iPod size except for the Shuffle. The coolest part is that Optimus transforms from a iPod dock / trailer thingy into his robot form. Not too bad of a disguise if you ask me.

Birthday cards are hard to pick out as it is, but when shopping for a geek, it becomes even more difficult. Skimming through the cards at your local Walmart doesn’t leave you many options.

I knew Optimus could transform into some groovy vehicles and even become a peripheral or cool tool every once in a while, but I had no idea that he was in the home entertainment biz as well. The Optimus Prime USB Speaker Set is a three-pound faux Transformer robotic head, with a helme which folds out to be a pair of speakers.

Word on the street is that there will also be an Ultra Magnus version. But why bother when the Opt-man is available anyway? Now, I can’t guarantee an audiophile listening experience (in all honestly, the speakers look sorta shoddy), I can very well affirm that you’ll probably be the only guy on the block listening to J-pop through the ears of a geek culture icon.

Why venture out to the movie theater if you can bring the theater right into the comfort of your own home. Ohio man and all-around American hero Randy Murray took $80,000 and spent 8 months transforming his basement into a complete movie theater.

To get the experience just right, Murray included a full-concession display, a claw machine, an arcade game, movie posters and oh, of course all of that sound and video equipment stuff. Hit the jump for more cinematastic pics and a full list of equipment.

What is the deal with all these people ripping apart perfectly good video game consoles in favor of upgrading them with the latest technology? Sometimes retro is better!

That being said, this is a nice looking iPod dock. It’s a broken iPod clock/radio shoved inside an Atari 2600 shell. My guess is that this mod took no more than an hour. Drill a few holes for speakers, a little Gorilla Glue and voila, you’re finished.

Anyone still pumping out Kid Cudi tracks from a traditional speaker setup is really missing out. With this iPod dock that’s shaped like a log, you and your homeboys will be poppin’ wood all night. Dancing and prancing will never feel more right. And to boot, it’s actually made from a real, honest-to-god log. Killer beats. Tree killer beats, that is.
