Ghetto Transformers: Cardboard in Disguise

cardboardformers

These Ghetto Transformers costumes are made using cardboard boxes, paint and probably some paper mache.

It’s all fun and games until it starts to rain. Soggy cardboard might be the least intimidating material ever. You can’t even give someone a paper cut with that shit. These costumes might work as a Halloween costume on a dry night, but for fighting Decepticons? I’ll stick with brute metal.

Mona Lisa Made Entirely of Discarded Motherboards

motherboard_mona_lisa

Sure, it might not be the largest Mona Lisa ever made, but who needs size when you’re made of the geekiest material ever devised, computer hardware.

The Motherboard Mona Lisa is made entirely of discarded hardware and currently sits in the lobby of the Asus headquarters in Taiwan.

Mario and Luigi Caught Manhandling Taxi Driver on Camera

mario_luigi_assault

This might just be Mario and Luigi’s attempt to get their name in the papers only days before the release of the new Super Mario Bros. Wii game, but apparently the two plumbers were spotted assaulting a NYC cab driver.

Don’t get too discouraged quite yet, your two favorite plumbers still might have a chance. Number one, the attack was on Halloween, so it might not be the REAL Mario and Luigi, but perhaps the work of two impostors. The fact that it happened in 4D also lends credibility to a fake. A third man, who was wearing a tuxedo, is also being sought. No mention of if they were packing mushrooms at the time of the incident.

If The Shining Was an Anime Feature…

shining

In my opinion The Shining is the scariest damn movie ever made. Those damn twins always scared the living shit out of me. In fact, it remains one of the only films I’m too scared to view again. Could it be have been any scarier? I’m not sure, but something about this anime-style version freaks me out.

DeviantArt user Patches created this Shining anime-tized poster using characters his friends and himself had devised. So if you were wondering why the twins were so well-developed, ahem, there you go.

Big Head Self-Portrait Papercraft Halloween Costume

bighead

The days following Halloween are always a lot of fun. Not only do we get to munch on mountains of leftover candy, but we get to see photos of everyone’s awesome finished costume ideas. This Big Head Self-Portrait Papercraft costume is one of the neatest I’ve seen yet.

Eric Testroete got a little cocky. I mean this guy’s head was huge. He created a papercraft model of himself so he could show off his gigantic ego. The finished product makes his real head look massive and pixel-licious.

Low Resolution Halloween Costume is a Little Late to the Party

lowres-costume

Ok, so this costume WOULD have been awesome had we heard about it, say, a week and a half ago, but alas, Halloween has come and gone and now we’ll have to wait another full-year before we can dress up in this Low Resolution costume, and possibly make up for our awful Borat costume we’ve worn for the second Halloween in a row. Well, I guess we could really dress in a costume any day of the year if we wanted, we’d just risk being arrested for disturbing the peace.

This clever costumer used pixelized face paint and a blockish collared shirt to make themselves appear as a low resolution image. I would have added the Pixel necklace for even extra effect. Pure genius.

Remote-Controlled Tissue Box Brings The Kleenex to the Nose, Not the Other Way Around

tissue_box

When your sick, the last thing you wanna do is get out of bed and go chasing your tissue box, which is exactly what you might have to do if you’re unlucky enough to have a sibling or spouse cruel enough to use this Remote-Controlled Tissue Box to lure you around the house like a beggar following a dollar bill on a string.

Then again, you have to admit, it would be fun to be in the drivers seat in that situation. And your brother thought it was funny always stealing your Halloween candy. No trick or treating for you this year, sicko.

Mother-Son Family Guy Halloween Costumes

family_guy_costumes

Halloween doesn’t have to be all about getting the shit scared out of you. Craftster user SonicsInk posted this awesome Mother-Son Family Guy costume, perfect for a comedy-filled Halloween.

And remember, there is always the potential for some scariness. Stewie has been trying to kill his mother for years now. Victory will be his! I love the little details, such as the Brian doll humping Lois’s leg.

Stupid Criminals Use Permanent Marker as Disguise

black-marker-faces

Two men were arrested in Carroll, Iowa after attempting to break-in to a man’s home wearing hooded sweatshirts and face paint, instead of a sky mask or hood. That was only their first mistake.

How did they get caught, you might ask? Their face paint was streaked on with permanent marker. Unable to remove the ink from their skin, the men were found without too much of a problem. Looks like we have yet another Halloween idea to add to the old stockpile.

Largest Mona Lisa in the World Made of Paint by Numbers

monalisa

This Welsh shopping mall recreated the Mona Lisa blown up 50 times the original size. Made out of 82 paint by numbers tiles, this is officially the largest Mona Lisa in the world. I swear someone’s getting beat if that running dude leaves any footprints.

They know exactly how I love my women. Massive, flat and covered in protective lacquer.
